ACTMA Video
2017
ACTMA Grant Project Documentation | Northeastern Illinois University
During my time at NEIU's Center for College Access and Success, I managed full production and post-production for this grant documentation video, and collaborated on writing the voiceover script. The video was created to document and communicate the scope of a federally funded research project to stakeholders and funders.
The ACTMA project focused on developing embedded, adaptive, and culturally unbiased assessments of computational thinking in STEM — designed for informal learning environments like makerspaces as well as formal physics classrooms.

Co-produced as a two-person team at NEIU's Center for College Access and Success, this documentary-style video captures the reflections of Golden Apple Award-winning teacher Madeline Kobayashi on her experience developing and implementing an inquiry and design-based curriculum unit funded through CCAS's Units for Books grant initiative.
The video documents her 9th grade classroom at Senn High School and traces her journey from YAL Conference attendee to featured presenter — illustrating the real-world impact of GEAR UP-funded programming on classroom literacy and engagement.

Motivational Interviewing Program | NEIU Center for College Access and Success
I handled post-production for this grant documentation video at NEIU's Center for College Access and Success, shaping existing footage into a documentary-style piece for funders and stakeholders.
The video follows CCAS counselor Richard Rutschman's pioneering Motivational Interviewing program — a collaboration with Adler School of Psychology interns and Talent Search Director Danny Gordon — documenting its impact on a cohort of high school students through a culminating Adventure Camp and High Ropes Course retreat. The program's community impact was recognized with the Adler School's Community Trailblazer Award in 2015.

Zine Making Workshop Series | NEIU CCAS & Brown and Proud Press
I handled post-production editing for this remote collaboration between NEIU's Center for College Access and Success and Brown and Proud Press, adapting self-filmed footage into a polished educational video series during the COVID-19 pandemic's stay-at-home orders in spring 2020.
The series was developed to support online classes exploring zine making culture, with this opening episode serving as an introduction to Brown and Proud Press and the history and practice of zine making.
